Asscher Cut - Steps Question!!! Pictures???

Hi, I have been browsing and learning about asschers for a few months now and am ready to pull the trigger...but it seems there is always an extra question to ask about these stones!!!

I love the Classic asscher, which I have been looking at for months...but just sorta got introduced to the "steps"...3 or 4 or 5? Whats the difference? Does a 5 step make it look more like a Royal? Thx!

I know he has been sick recently - poor chappie - but he has been spotted on the boards so he should see this and help you when he can!

3 4 and 5 step can all mimic each other in face up appearance, there isn''t really a look one can do the other cant.
It is a stone by stone call.

3/3 because it the classic. (well not really as every combo under the sun has been cut since near day 1 of the cut)
looks and performance wise its a stone by stone call.
