Wedding Are you going to have or did you have toasting flutes and a cake serving set?

We are only having the flutes because FMIL wants to purchase them (and have them engraved) for us. We aren''t having flower girls or ringbearers and the site provides the cake essentials.

violet - here are pics of the toasting glasses and the serving set. I love how the glasses say "bride and groom" on them and they aren''t the typical tall flute like glasses. I''m not sure what shape this is called but it definitely reminds me of a time where my parents got married way back when. haha

I didn''t have a close up one of the cake servers :p but you can see the whole set up. and also why I''m reluctant to engrave anything. the only place to engrave is on the blade itself!

We received the Vera Wang Love Knots toasting flutes & cake serving set at our engagement party.
I don''t know that we would have bought such an expensive set for ourselves.....but they are stunning & I really love them!
btw, we engraved the cake lift only.

I actually started ebay''ing these and saw quite a few cute short ones like you posted april, very reasonably priced too!

Well I''m not sure how old they have to be to be considered vintage. But they are indeed the same set my parents used when they got married back in the 70''s. So they are old!

Well I''m not sure how old they have to be to be considered vintage. But they are indeed the same set my parents used when they got married back in the 70''s. So they are old!
