I gotta dtto my friend DF. I know the prices are insane for colored diamonds. But paying that and having a small stone to show for it?? If it's what you want, go for it... But am thinking in this economy their could be some wiggle room???

I''m of the same opinion as DF and Kaleigh, but if a coloured diamond is calling to you and you have the cash...go ahead. As Kaleigh pointed out, though,''wiggle room??''.

Exactly. I''m not opposed to colored diamonds at all, but I do hate that "irradiated" fakey blue green look. If it''s going to look like it''s irradiated, then you might as well save the bucks and buy an irradiated stone. Yuck.
 
I have to agree that the color is off-puttung!Ive seen irradaited gems with a more pleasing blue color.I would only invest money like that into pure blues.
