Are there any nice (non-plastic) waterproof watches?

I wear a watch 24/7. I don't take it off for the shower or pool, and have no desire to. It's got to withstand water. I've tried cheap quartz watches, and always get them wet and ruin them. I don't want to have to bother to remember to remove a watch every time.

Is a cheap plastic Timex watch as good as it gets for waterproof watches?

I like Timex watches and the glowlight, alarm clock, and all. But the plastic does look pretty cheap. Well, it is cheap. It "feels" weird to be wearing decent/nicer jewelry with a cheap, clunky plastic sport watch. I could live with an analog watch. But, my watches have to be waterproof-- they always get wet.

To complicate things, I prefer digital watches. It's quicker to read the time. So, I want digital and waterproof. Is there such a thing?

Most watches are waterproof up to certain depths. As long as you're not deep sea diving, they should be fine. There are plenty of watches. List your budget, and I'm sure PS'ers can chime in with options.

IMO, I don't think most digital watches look "nice", like nice enough to pull off wearing 24/7 with anything other than casual clothing. I'm not sure what type of clothing you wear to work or whatever. Most digi watches look like sports watches.

This Movado is a digital watch, and it's waterproof up to 300 meters. More dressy-ish.. since it's a classic Movado look, but the digital down dresses it.

More sporty look, waterproof up to 50 meters:

More dressyish look with a smaller digital side display, waterproof up to 50 meters:

If there are no waterproof digital watches, what about a Rolex Oyster Perpetual?

Baahaa. Yeah!! Why not! My dream watch someday!

I have a Tag and a Raymond Weil. Both are waterproof up to 300 meters (or something like that).
