Are tennis bracelets for daily wear?

I''m curious if people wear their diamond tennis bracelets on a daily basis. If so, how many carats is it? Is there a size limit for daily wear? Like you would wear a 4 ct daily, but a 10 ct occaisionally?

My bracelet is 4 carats and I think it looks too dressy for my daily casual dress. What I really want is one of the Tiffany Diamonds By the Yard bracelets because I think that is more casual and appropriate for daily wear.

I wear my 4ct 2 prong bracelet almost every day. I don''t think it looks too flashy at all. Sometimes I wear my DBTY bracelet, but then I miss the bling factor of my tennis bracelet.

I have a five carat tennis bracelet that I wear almost every day. Personally, I think it is too much with my engagement ring (pear three stone) and wedding band (shared prong eternity) all on one hand/wrist...so I just wear the bracelet on my right wrist.

Mine is 4.5 ctw, set in a 14k yellow gold four-prong setting. It was a Christmas gift from DH two years ago, and I wear it every single day.

ETA: I wear it on my right wrist so it doesn't have to compete with my e-ring and w-band!

Funny thing about polls. I think subconsiously I was waiting for someone to say go ahead, where your 5 cts o bling around your wrist every day, why not!

I think it totally depends on where you work, etc. There are some places where it is important to be conservatively dressed and inappropriate to wear a lot of bling. On the other hand, I suppose there are places where it is encouraged, such as in jewelry or other high end stores. I am a teacher and dress pretty casually, so I would just look silly wearing a lot of diamonds to werk!

Hah! Paper pusher for County Gov''t - same thing here. No one would look askance if I wore a ton on bling. We have blingalicous ladies and those that barely qualify as dressed for business.

I wear my 4 ct. bracelet daily, but it''s a 2-prong with the stones set very closely together, so the stones are only 6-pointers.

I looked at a 5 ct. version, but I felt the larger stones (8 pointers) began to look a bit too much for my typical daily look.

I wear my WF 6ct plat tennis bracelet daily -- it''s really up to you what you feel comfortable wearing. I love mine and it''s become a staple like my e-ring and studs.

I wear one of mine daily. I have a 2 ct. YG tennis bracelet and a 1 ct. WG bezel set fashion bracelet. I wear one of them every day and sometimes wear them together.
