i think his name is murray, he was a nice guy who was very helpful and seemed very knowledgable. i forgot how much he charged, i think it was around $50.00 maybe? i went in and we spent around half an hour to an hour talking about the ring, at the end of the session he gave me a rough estimate of his appraisal. a few days later after doing some research, he sent me a formal appraisal in the mail. there are some good threads on this forum about what to ask an appraiser when you go in, i would suggest you look through them so you''ll know what to ask and expect.
