Appraiser Referrals

Hi all!
Thanks for all of the help with picking my diamond. I went with diamond #1 in my previous posts. The diamond should arrive soon, and I looking for information on appraisers. Any referrals on appraisers in the Riverside/San Bernardino, CA area? Should I look in the phone book for appraisers in my area? What should I ask the appraiser about my diamond and how much does this typically cost? Any tips or ideas will be greatly appreciated, as this is my first time buying a diamond and having an appraisal done. Thanks so much!

I just went thru similar situation. My research result tells me that I better off ship the diamond to the indept appraisers recommended on PS (David Atlas, Neal Beaty, RockDoc, Richard - he''s taking leave now). The shipping charge is not as bad as I thought.

Have you tried to locate an appraiser using the tool bar above? Go to "Resources" and then "Appraisers" and see if there is one in your area. Hopefully that should work for you!!
