Appraisals in the Toronto area...

Last time I went to IGS (an independent appraiser noted on the forum) but to be honest I wasn't happy with his service or premises.

Are there any other appraisers in the Toronto area that any PS'ers would recommend?

They all suck ... I have been to a few ... rip off and no insights. The best is HW but they are really expensive.

To be honest, just use EGL and you get a EGL cert too. Prices between $70 to $100 and same day service. It is downtown.

This will be to evaulate and appraise Lady J once I get her from JbEG. I've thought about HW but hate the fact that you can't be physically in the same area as the appraiser. I have no idea how much they charge either.

There's Jem Scan and Jem Lab, but heard they are terrible too.

You'd think in such a big city we'd have at least one good appraiser!
