Hello!

I found this picture a while ago on Price Scope and I absolutely love the setting. I don''t have any other views of the setting, just this picture. It looks like it is either a eternity band with diamonds that go all the way around, or a 3/4 eternity band.

I have my heart set on a emerald cut center stone, and I just haven''t found any settings I like as much as this one. Most of the others I''ve seen that have a center stone and then diamonds going around the band either look too big (thick) for me, or they''re channel set (which I don''t think I want), or the diamonds only go 1/2 way down the band, or they''re primarily round diamonds (which I don''t think I want either).

I want a emerald cut center stone, with a thin delicate band. Probably something with micro pave, if that''s the correct term. Anyway, I''d really appreciate it if anyone knows where I can find this setting. Thanks so much!

It's gorgous. I have a soft spot for ECs, I just love them. I do not know who made the setting but I think that it could be reproduced with very little trouble. The band looks like it might be channel set princesses?

The shank looks like the stones are channel set (whick since I lost a melee I have a new found respect for), any jeweler will have or can create a setting just like this. It is beautiful. I love ECs!!!!

Thanks Jazmine & Tacori!

The photo is done in a way that you can''t really tell the details of the diamonds on the band, which is frustrating. When I''ve looked at similar rings online and they''re channel set, I just find that they look a bit too bulky for my finger. But of course even good online pictures don''t tell you everything. I think I need to go try on a lot of rings to figure out exactly what features I really do want, and really don''t want.
I think I''d rather have a micro-pave type of setting, with tiny diamonds in a thin band, than channel set. Although I''m a klutz so maybe I should consider channel set to be on the safe side!

I think the side diamonds must be princess cut though, right? They''re definitely not rounds.

What do you guys think a ring like that would look like with a eternity band for a wedding ring? I really want something similar to the first picture for an engagement ring, and then a very thin eternity band as my wedding ring. My fingers are too stubby to carry off some of the thicker designs I''ve seen on Price Scope.

Here''s sort of an idea of what I''m thinking for the engagement ring/wedding ring set.

It''s by Vera Wang. Of course I wouldn''t have a center stone that large (I''m looking at 2 carats max probably, and the picture is a 5 carat center stone). And I want an emerald cut instead of a princess or radiant. But it''s a beautiful set and I''d like something similar.

Does it look too bling bling? Like too showy with diamonds all around the band on the engagement ring, and then also an eternity wedding band?

i love that ring...and i''m also looking for a micropave eternity set.
have you seen this thread? link
also here''s a thread i started with pictures of some eternity sets i''m considering: link

Either I''m losing my eyesight or the band on the ring you''re coveting is definately channel set ... asschers or square emerald cuts I believe. Princesses would be a lot flashier, and those stones seem similar to the center EC.

I suspect you''ve seen clunkier channel set bands and that''s turned you off to the look. Have you seen the Tiffany Deco inspired ring ...

Hi Deco!

Thanks for your response! And you are correct, the styles I''ve seen online with channel set around the band have been pretty chunky looking, which has turned me off to them. I''ve got short fingers, medium thickness, so I don''t want a lot of bulk from the engagement ring and wedding band. I want a very thin band on both. And of course I don''t want to overpower or distract from the beautiful emerald cut center stone I hope to find!

That Tiffany inspired ring is very pretty. Do you know who makes it?

I think I need to find a setting with a micro pave band to get what I want. But I do like the look of square/rectangular accent diamonds rather than round ones.

That is an actual Tiffany setting-not a copy.

Actually looking at the right side of your dream ring they look round. You need to try settings on. I have smaller hands (4.5 ring size) and I always thought I would get a thinner band but then I feel in love with my Tacori setting, the rest is history. I think I am going to get a 1/2 channel set princess band. I was going to get a bead set one but it is not worth the risk. I don''t want to return my ring with a missing melee everyday to the jeweler!!! I think they would black ball me

I think eternity bands are lovely but resizing is a concern for me as well as knocking out a stone. I do not "baby" my rings and wear them pretty much for everything so they are not realistic to me. I also personally like it when the stones is the e-band end with the same place the stones in the e-ring end. I tried on a 3/4 e-band and I thought it looked a little funny. Just my 2 cents of course.
