I heard on the radio this morning that an ederly man had to turn his dog in because he has dementia and cannot take his beloved dog into the assisted living home that he is going to. It was his wifes dog and his wife died about a year ago and now he is forced to leave her too. The dogs name is Ginger and she is stuck in a cage. She has been sleeping with human companionship for 8 years. The owner is very upset about his Ginger having to stay in a crate until someone can adopt her. Please if there is anyone that can take this dog! She is well behaved, completely housebroken, lovable, obedient, etc. Please contact the North Shore Animal League if you can adopt Ginger.
