Anyone have a LOGR setting with a diamond in it?

I''ve seen the colored gems thread with various settings by LOGR. I am wondering if anyone has set a diamond into one of his settings? I''d love to see pics. I spent a couple hours looking at mountings in a nearby store..and I think I''m leaning towards a halo style ring (after finally trying one on)!

. I know that his settings are reasonably priced if you upgrade the quality (diamonds), so if anyone has done this, I`d love to hear from you. Thanks

I think Laurenthepartier has an OEC set into a LOGR setting. But just a warning since you like heavy solid pieces I have heard his settings are not at all heavy or solid feeling. Just FYI.

I see the OEC..and upon futhur reading I found that one member had diamonds falling out of her setting..yikes!! I like heavy setting for solitaires YES..but for a halo, something more delicate. It will be a big enough looking piece, without all the added gold.

MMT, you''re right. I don''t think I would wear any of my settings day in and day out, but I do wear my OEC setting at least 3 times a week, and I''ve had no problem with it, thankfully.

I have LTP''s OEC setting with upgraded diamonds and I love it. It''s not the most solid setting in the world. There is no gallery and it is hollowed out, but it''s not super flimsy either. Some of his settings are a bit flimsy, some are not, it depends which style you are getting.

If you post about some settings you''re thinking about in the Colored Stone forum, many people can give you more information on them. Several of us have different versions of his settings in the halo style. I personally would upgrade the diamonds if you do use this for a diamond. The SI diamonds are single cuts, and the VS (on my settings at leat) are all full cuts.
