Szh, maybe this will make you and others feel better about that ruby, but my e-ring Asscher is only 5mm flat.Date: 9/28/2009 5:05:34 PM

I''ve loved that one for a while as well. I''ve imagined it bezeled in 18 yellow gold with a bevel in the bezel, or as a three stone with emerald cut or baguette diamond sides. The only thing that''s held me back is size; 4.6mm is tiny! I have an emerald that is 4.3mm, and I adore it, but I''d like something a little larger for my next gemstone purchase.
It really is a beautiful stone. Does anyone know how this one is cut? I don''t really see steps, so I''m assuming its not an asscher. Not a radiant; could it be a princess with cut corners?
It looks like a square Barion cut.Date: 9/28/2009 5:05:34 PM

Yes it is a divine color!!! Someone with more design imagination than me needs to buy it. I would never figure out what to do with it.
LTP What do you mean by 5mm flat? You mean 5.0mm by 5.0 mm? With the setting it''s in I never would have guessed that. So it just proves that someone could buy this stone and make it a star.![]()
Oh GOOD!! I''ve been thinking that both of those gems really need a home. I just don''t have the design skill to figure out what to do with them. I bet you do though. Any thoughts?Date: 9/28/2009 11:30:53 PM
