Anyone done or tried Herbalife?

A few co workers have had success. I bought some this weekend and started yesterday. Just curious to hear your experiance, if there is any.

My in-laws used to sell it. For them, it worked very well -they had a tendency to eat only one real meal a day because they are super busy, so the HL replaced those missed meals. They lost a lot of weight, especially FIL - he looks awesome. For me, it didn't work, because I do eat three times a day and I was always hungry, and angry lol.
 
I have, I used it a few different times.

The vitamins are great, I really liked taking them- maybe it was psychosomatic but I felt like I had more energy and slept better, ect. The first time I used it I lost weight but it was hard to stick to it, the shakes are goodish- but not really as filling as say just eating a fiber filled meal. You can have as much fruit as you want (this was how it was explained to me, anyway) in the morning or between the shakes. So, say you are having your one meal as dinner, then you would have a shake for bfast and one for lunch, and you could eat as much fruit as you wanted until dinner. I did that and lost but it wasn't something that kept it off long term because it isn't really teaching you to eat.

Are you trying to lose or what is your overall goal you want to achieve?
 
I want to lose...fast. I'm getting married in 6 weeks and I can't completely zip up my dress. I'm a stress eater and I've gained 10lbs since getting my dress.

Best thing that I can tell you to do- this is from experience. :) Walk for 30 mins everyday. Just enough to get a sweat, that will help. Try to go for at least 30 add more if you can.

Don't eat after 6 or 7 PM and DON'T make it heavy on the carbs. Try to stay away from breads and pastas, ect. later in the day. Have your carbs in the morning and steer clear later.

Lean meats and lots of leafy greens. Spinach, broccoli, kale, ect. Very good for you and full of fiber- which will keep you...err...moving. You have to move it to lose it, girl.

WATER- drink at LEAST 2 liters a day.

My trainer gave me a great menu- I will give you a day for an idea:

bfast:
Kashi Go Lean cereal (serving suggested size)
1/2 cup of SKIM milk
1/2 Strawberries

snack:
laughing cow light cheese
2 slices of roasted chicken/turkey lunch meat

Lunch:
4 oz. Chicken breast, grilled no skin
1/2 Avacado
Dry baked potato
1/2 cup salsa (great on the potato, btw)

Snack:
15 raw almonds

Dinner:
6oz lean meat (filet/turkey/chicken ect)
Broccoli/Spinach
1/2 avacado
Fudge pop (sugar free) or fresh fruit- stay away from melon late at night because of the high sugar content.

Stepcut - Strawder gave really really good advice.

I don't recommend taking weight loss pills, supplements, or doing fad diets. They DO NOT work long term. I promise they don't. I tried several. Taking a healthy outlook on food, eating 3 main meals with two snacks a day, drinking lots of water, and reducing "empty" foods while increasing my exercise to at least 30 mins a day is how I lost all 50 lbs.
