Anybody Watching "The Killing?"

Please explain what's happening! This program confuses me so much. It's always dark & half the time I can't see what's happening & it's hard to understand what the heck Holder is saying -- the boy mumbles! But I can't stop watching.

My DH loves it and made me watch the first episode. However, I shared your experience (I couldn't understand a lot of what was said) and haven't watched it again. Too many good shows out there where I CAN hear and see everything.

There's a forum called Television Without Pity, or TWOP. People discuss TV programs to death. And also, I think some of the writers or others who are creating the shows lurk around there to explain things as well as keep current on the popularity (or disgust, lol) with their show.

I only read the MadMen section, and the moderators in there are bat guano crazy. They just locked the MM S6 finale thread because too many people were making comments that are "not directly related to the episode." It's a show that takes place in the past, so, yeah, people younger than a certain age are going to have general questions like "Was that really true?" Or "Could they even DO that back then?" So, look but don't speak, at least in the MM threads.

Thanks, I'll check out that site. MZ, it's on season 3 now, new mystery. I don't know why I keep watching, but somehow it interests me -- when I can figure out what's going on. Glad to hear I'm not handicapped, Mscushion, I thought it was just me!

that's what I thought, that you're watching season 3.
we have cable for our computers but not for the tv.....actually, I haven't watched tv programs in years unless they're on dvd/Netflix. when season 3 comes out, i'll be watching it.

That show sucks so bad. The first season started off strong and then got worse and worse. Season 2 was terrible, and I didn't finish it. So I won't be watching Season 3! My advice-don't waste your time!
