Hi Everyone,
Happy New Year!!! :D I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday!!!! I have finished my finals and patiently awaiting my diploma in the mail....YEAAAAA!!! Now I guess I can continue looking for that perfect ring for me. I have been thinking and thinking and looking too and can''t seem to find a place that sales diamonds and settings that I like in the same place. I am looking for a semi-bezel e-ring and a RB diamond that can accentuate it. I love being unique but elegant so no side stones just a beautiful mount for my diamond would be great.. I enjoy looking but sometimes it gets frustrating when I think I have found the perfect one only to see that there is either no setting or diamond to go along with it. Thanks Everyone, Be Blessed....Lizzie

Do you like the look of the Tiffany Etoile (thick band, half-bezel)? This is WF's take on it. And this is a similar style but with diamonds set in the band. Here's another one - a very different look, with a cool profile view.

As for the diamond, it will be a lot easier to find one if you tell us a little more of what you want...size, color, clarity, and budget are a good place to start!

ETA: 2 other half-bezel options that WF has: the true love and endless love settings. I'm usually a fan of lower settings, but I actually think I prefer the endless love. Also, here's another Etoile-like option.

Thanks Jstarfireb :) The thicker bands are not my favorite but I love the thinner more danty ones. I am in tune with you as far as the true and the endless love settings. I just wish I could see more views on this ring

....If anyone has pictures I would love to see... :)

As far as a diamond I would love for something that will stand out. I wear a size 7 so I am not sure what size diamond would be perfect. I am leaning towards nothing less than .75ct although I would love to have something close to 1ct or even a little more. The budget would have to be no more than $3,000 for the diamond. Clarity no lower than SI2 and lowest color a J, but it can be flexible with the right flourescence. I love flourescence so I have to at least have Medium Flo. Ideal or Excellent cut would be great, but ultimately I am looking for the biggest diamond possible for my budget and of course clarity is very important.

I found another ring I love on Sasha Primak site but I am unable to post a direct link to the actual ring. It is a half bezel and I would love to know what you guys thoughts are, if you have heard of the designer let me know if there was positive or negative feedback.

Thanks a bunch

Any my research continues.......

Is this an engagement ring? or a graduation gift to yourself?

Is this an engagement ring? or a graduation gift to yourself?
Important Question!

Another suggestion is that if you find a setting you mostly like you can always approach someone that does custom work and ask if they can make you a band that is "inspired by" the one you like. WhiteFlash does quite a bit of that sort of work, and I believe Wink Jones does as well.

Engagement ring. Right? I don''t know what you like since I haven''t seen any of your links but I like this one and think it is delicate. It''s by Mark Morrell who does not sell diamonds. But buying a stone and having it shipped to Mark Morrell (or any other jeweler) is a pretty easy way to go. It''s want many of us do since you hate to be limited with stone or setting selection.

Yes this would be an engagement ring for me... I am doing research for my boyfriend well to point him in the right direction, but it is harder than I thought it would be to find something I like. When I find something I like I always find something else to like even more. I just would love to find a happy medium. I like semi-bezels that look traditional, but also I am tring to compromise with the cost so the ring itself won''t be too pricey or the diamond. This is hard work wheewwww.....Thanks again everyone
