Any Real World Fans?

I love this season already. It usually takes me a while to warm up but I am instantly hooked!

I think they did a great job picking this season''s cast. Very diverse group. Some of the things Chet and Ryan say are like

but they are pretty funny and make me laugh.

Anywho- Huge RW fan here, liked RR better but now that it''s gone I''m all about RW and the challenges.

The cast this season is pretty great, huh? They seem like eventually it''s all going to become one big ol'' hot mess.

I actually really like Ryan and Chet. Ryan''s songs are hysterical (eat, workout, eat...lol). Chet, is very avante for someone who is "hetero"...lots and lots of pink and purple and designing clothing...but he''s funny too! I loved it so much when they were in the boat together singing...too funny!!!

Katelynn...ummm...obvious.

Scott...is a total meathead.

I like Sarah a lot, very sweet...

The Miss. Teen Whatever is annoying, IMO. She all but fell in love on the first day...please.

IMO the only reason he is "hetero" is because he''s Mormon and thus believes being gay is a sin...no way this boy is hetero. Just his fascination with male parts alone is enough to convince me!

My favorites are Chet and Ryan. Man they crack me up. I don''t think Chet is gay at all. I think he''s probably pretty sheltered, from an area and family where everyone looks/acts the same, and looking for any way to stand out and grab attention. I 100% believe him when he says he''s straight.

Sarah seems like a great person too, but it appears that she starts some drama later....

JD appears to have two sides, not sure what I think yet. Kind of wish he''d lighten up a little? But at the same time maturity is needed somewhere....

Baya is adorable.

Who the is Scott? Who the heck is Devyn? MTV has barely shown them thus far, but I''m sure the next episode will feature them more.

Katelyn is pretty interesting. I like her so far.

I don''t care for Katelynn at all...I find her being dishonest with her roommates sad...if she''s comfortable in her skin for the first time in her whole life why continue to hide from people?

Hehe curious is right. I would put money on him kissing another guy by the end of the season somehow, even if it''s an "accident".

Hmmm I tend to think he is straight, but is just super curious because he hasn''t been exposed to it before. Not to generalize, but he is just like Julie from RW New Orleans. She was mormon and I remember how she was just so fascinated with anything having to do with race/sexuality. She ended up doing a lot of wild things and I believe she was kicked out of the church for her behavior on RW (although I don''t think she did anything wrong). I do hope that he sees he has a lot in common with the stereotypical gay man and realizes not to judge.

luckystar112- Yes Baya is adorable! As for Scott and Devyn, well did you ever notice on the RW there is always one roomie who seems to be missing a lot? I guess since there are 8 roomates, this season there will be two!

Italia- I don''t like/dislike Kaitlynn yet,but yes she does seem very uncomfortable with herself. It seems like every time the camera is on her she looks morose or insecure. I do wish she would just be proud of who she is and rock it! But since I haven''t been in her position so it''s hard to say. Maybe she has to deal with hateful comments all the time,and has found that people treat you better when you don''t make them feel uncomfortable. I remember watching "Surreal World" on Vh1 when Alexis (shoot can''t remember her last name... famous trans-gender woman from a famous acting family) was being tormented by men at the bar. I''m sure these people have to deal with so much hatred on a daily basis. She also JUST had the surgery before coming into the house so maybe it will take some time for her to adjust.

Neat- I don''t think he''ll kiss another guy, but it will be so much to see what he does do! Speaking of kissing guys.... how funny was it when Ryan was kissed by the drag queen?! Seriously, washing your face because of it? But I think he acted that way because he thought that''s what you have to do to preserve your hetero-manhood. I actually think he was a good sport.

Bee- My favorite season was definitely RW Seattle. The one with crazy Irene and Steven the slapper. They used to rerun all the whole complete old seasons of RW each time before a new season started. I wish they would do that again, I''d love to watch the old ones again!

Really? Do you think Chet is going to get disfellowshipped (ooh new vocabulary word!) then too? He had to have known before going in.

That is sad about Julie, because I thought she did a good job of maintaining her beliefs...

Julie just got kicked out of Brigham Young University. When you enroll in college there, you are not allowed to live with the opposite sex and they saw her time in New Orleans as such.

I don''t think Chet goes to BYU, I think he went to Utah.
