I will ask my husband (he''s in the middle of his video game). He loves watches but I don''t know if he will know anything. It looks pretty neat.

what you have is an early military/explorer watch.The pocket watch style case shows its an early form and it is from the early turn of the 20th century(pre 1920s)the watch site WWW.watchuseek.com at the vintage watch section will have several people interested in helping you find out more about the watch!

p/s the crescent moon and star may indicate Russian origin.
