I was looking online the other day for a specific wedding set by A. Jaffe. In my search, I came across BridalRings.com. They had the set I was looking for. I called them for the price (A. Jaffe prices aren''''t usually listed online), the woman I talked to said she would look them up and call me right back. About 2 minutes later she called me back with the price. About $100 cheaper than SolomonBrothers.com. Anyway, while I was waiting for the phone call, I looked around on the site a little more and found another setting that I really liked. It is similar in style to the A. Jaffe setting without the designer price. My question is, has anyone here on PS worked with BridalRings.com, or in the store in the LA jewelry district? I live in Minnesota, so I will only be dealing with them over the internet/phone. I''''d love to hear any experiences you have had. Thanks!

I've never heard of Bridalrings.com. But Pearlmansjewelers carries A Jaffe settings and his prices are listed on his website. You might want to check it out just for comparison purposes. Which setting are you interested in?

ETA: just checked out Bridal's website and it looks like they carry a nice selection of designer jewelry.

Hi there, lehcarm

- I have not personally had any experience with them, but I do know of a woman who bought her engagement ring from them (in their store) and was thrilled with it. She liked it b/c they went in there and sat down at the counter and were very pleased with the service and loves her ring - she feels like they got a very good price. She had liked them enough that when we started looking she very strongly recommended them. I have not gone to their store myself. Again, her experience was in person, so I don''t know anything about over the internet/phone.

Here is the set I am interested in. Pearlmans only lists the price for platinum, I''m interested in white gold. I will give them a call to see what their prices are.

Here is the other set I saw on BridalRings.com. Each ring is only $607, so I could get the set for about $100 more than just the A. Jaffe engagement ring.

The A. Jaffe set has just over .2 carats total, diamonds go half way around. This set has about .5 carat per ring and diamonds go all the way around. What do you all think?

I think you''d have to see the bridalrings version to make sure the quality of both rings are equal. with the jaffe you are paying some for the designer name but also for the high quality attached with it. It''s hard to say if the cheaper set is a deal b/c the quality may be inferior.
