Any experience with custom Whitflash martini stud earrings?

Hi all,

I am looking at buying three-prong, martini, diamond earring studs in platinum from Whiteflash. However, I''ve seen a few pictures of a custom setting that''s a lot thinner than the standard Whiteflash Martini setting and I like it a lot more. I think they also call it the handmade setting. Has anyone else ordered custom/handmade, three-prong, martini, earring studs from Whiteflash? Was there a significant price difference from the standard setting? How involved of a process was it? Any info/insight would be much appreciated.

You need to ask WF about the pricing between the styles. Sometimes they can just tweak the existing piece. and it''s not really a custom price.

I have been in touch with wf and the representative indicated that it is a custom job which would be more complex than tweaking an existing piece. However, I''m a little unclear as to how much more complicated and was hoping someone who had purchased the custom settings might be able to share her/his experience.

There are several people here with them. It seems like the price was something like $450 or so for those the last time I recall it being mentioned, but I don''t remember if that was platinum or wg. Did you ask the price when you called? It might take a week or two longer, but it''s not a big deal to have them made. I do like them better than the stock martini settings.

Thanks so much for the info. I talked with them today and it looks like what you said: it is a custom job but nothing too complicated or pricey. By the way, for those who haven't worked with wf, I really recomend it. They are very helpful and gave me a lot of options to choose from.
