The antiques dealer had said this ring was over 100 years old. Everything appears to be done by hand, the engravings and everything are awesome. The word SILVER is on the inside of the rings (Not sterling or 925). This piece was acid tested and is positive for silver.
The ring contains a decent size gemstone. Would say the gemstone is a pinkish red, more pink than anything.
Any help on what the stone may be. Also for the experts, would love to find out the era in which it could have been made. Either way, appreciate you giving my post a read and thank you for your time!!

This is pretty! It looks Victorian to me, 1870's-1900.
I agree with @Mrs_Strizzle, probably synthetic gem.
The carving is still crisp, and not much wear on the gemstone. A good find!
