What would you do with a M SI2 cushion cut. I am considering buying one. I am not engaged, so while I would love a ring, I don't want it to look too much like an engagement ring. I was also considering a bezeled necklace. It's 0.85 ct.

A bezeled necklace would be lovely. Or you could do a braclet (DBTY like with 1 station) if you want to see your stone.

Thanks for the suggestions! I hadn't seen that m and lower thread, but all the gorgeous pictures just make me want this stone more. I was thinking more on this, and how I could make it into a right hand ring that does not look too much like an engagement ring.
I was thinking about a 3 stone, with possibly blue or pink sapphires as the side stones. What do you think?

Are you right-handed? Set it low and in a bezel, so that the stone is protected.

Keep us posted!!

I hate to be a kill joy Faded but I'm pretty sure the .85ct AC you were looking at is sold. Was it the one from Erica? AC's are in high demand these days so if you see another one I would jump on it, or at least put it on hold if you are serious. You could also email her and see if she has anything else with the same specs. I'll keep my fingers crossed you come across something fabulous for you soon! Or even better yet it was a different .85ct AC that you have in mind vs. the one that sold.
