another off topic-Having trouble being creative

Why is it that I can only be creative when I don''t need to be? I''m at work trying to come up with ideas promoting our gift subscriptions as christmas gifts and I''m just blanking. I have the idea of a humerous top ten list, but I''m having a really hard time coming up with enough reasons. Agh.

Our newspaper. The ones I have right now (thought I''m not sure how much I like them) are:

-No dried, oddly colored mystery fruit
-Diet/Allergy Friendly
-No batteries needed

Obviously there would be explanations under each tying them in somehow.

I hate when I have creativity blocks.

Oooh good one! Though I bet some people could argue that. Some carriers don''t put all of the sections together before they leave the paper at people''s doors.

* no knitting supplies necessary
* black & white are always fashionable (or -- b&w goes with everything!)
* newsprint is the new "black"
* what other gift comes with coupons inside

My first job was at a newspaper in their ad design department… Christmas was always crazy because of all the ads!

No fighting the crowds at the mall
No need to worry about it selling out… I’m trying to tie in the Elmo doll that everyone is going nuts over right now
One size fits all
Free wrapping and shipping (sort of… im thinking plastic rain bags)
Delivered fresh daily
The gift they never get sick of because its new everyday!
