Mine is coming up too. Unfortunately, I don''t think he will. From his recent talk, it seems we will be waiting until the end of this year or early next year. Although, the closer our anniversary gets, the more I find myself wondering is he is just trying to throw me off to surprise me.

But, like you, I''m trying not to think about it and get my hopes up.

Do you know ive gotten a teensy little bit hopeful on the last two anniversaries, knowing full well id be disappointed... i just cant help myself yanno?

My DH proposed on a surprise trip he arranged for our second anniversary.

Our anniversary came and went last week and we barely made plans. I hadn''t gotten my hopes up too much. I wish I knew what he thinks would be a good time/moment to propose.

Ours is at the end of June. As I''ve said in other posts, the only thing holding us back right now is finances. The ring is very important to both of us. We know we want to be married and be "together forever," but we''re not calling ourselves "engaged" until I have a ring to show off. So I''ll keep my fingers crossed we can pull it together in 6 months.
