Those who have been following my posts know that my ERD SS-inspired setting was close but not there yet. Well Chris kindly connected me to the design team via phone, and the designer mentioned to get the rounded shank that I wanted, the bezel was needed so the shank could attach higher up. Now I don't love bezels for myself, but halos are nice, so the best solution was to do a halo. I asked them to do a cushiony halo like this one...and I like how the bezel diamonds on either side of the halo are diamond shaped.
I'll also ask them to mail me the wax when the next CAD is done.
Can I just say that Chris has been awesome!! He wants to be absolutely sure that I'm happy with the outcome. And that we wouldn't rush it til I was good with the design. That just made absolutely comfortable and erased any worries. They have been absolutely fantastic to work with.
Anyway, that's my update!
This photo is a 2.5ish stone so mine won't be as big. I think I'm going to love it with the halo....msop04 has one of my favourite cushiony halos. I find the brightcut and millgrain makes the halo more chunky...do you think it's absolutely necessary I do it on the halo since it's on the shank, or can I go without it on the halo and do a standard u cut pave on the halo?
