Hello,
1st time poster:
I know from the many threads on cushion cut stones here that you have to see a cushion to appreciate its beauty. However I am considering buying the stone from a big online vendor who does not provide very good pictures. Is that a really bad idea? They have a 30 day return policy if I hate the stone.
I was wondering if someone could look at the numbers of the stone and tell me if it has the potential to be a great stone? Or if there is something glaringly wrong or bad about these numbers and stats. I do have Sarin info and have attached the GIA cert.
Is there a tool that I can run these numbers through to tell me more info? I looked at the HCA which seems to be for round diamonds only. Is there another tool similar to that for cushions?
I''m particularly curious to know if the crown and pavilion angles look good.
I don''t need the absolute highest quality diamond in the world, but I also want to make sure that I don''t buy a diamond that doesn''t have good brilliance, sparkle and fire.
GIA cert attached.
Cushion Brilliant
1.58 Carrots
H color

Crown Angle 42 degrees
Crown Height 15.2%
Pavil Angle 44.3 degrees
Pavil Depth 47%
Girdle Thickness 4.1% (thin to thick rating on GIA cert)
