Ok got two stones here, one I've uploaded before and another that may seem like worse value on the face of it but perhaps not, both listed for the same price...

Stone 1:

Round Brilliant (GIA)
Measurements
5.22 - 5.24 x 3.18 mm (diamdb says it looks its weight)

0.53, D, VS1 (twinning wisp, knot, feather) Would assume eye-clean being a VS1, however the feather is likely near/on the girdle (assume it is please).
cut ex, polish VG, symmetry EX. (made a mistake on this on the last thread, correct here though).
HCA EX EX EX VG - 0.8

Depth 60.7
Table 57
Crown Angle 32.5 (Durability issue? Reduced fire but more light return is likely)
Crown Height 14
Pavillion Angle 41
Pavillion Depth 43.5
Star Length 50
Lower half 75
Girdle medium to slightly thick faceted 3.5%
No Culet, Faint FL

Report issued in 2011.

Stone 2:
Round Brilliant (GIA)
Measurements:
5.07-5.10 x 3.16

0.5, G, VS2 (crystal, cloud - should be no issues here).
Cut/polish/symmetry x3 EX
HCA 1.3

Depth 62.2
Table 55
Crown Angle 34.5 (much more ideal imo)
Crown Height 15.5
Pavillion Angle 40.8 (prefer this also)
Pavillion Depth 43
Star Length 50
Lower half 80
Girdle medium to slightly thick faceted 4%
No Culet or FL

Report issued 2013.

So considering it's the same amount of cash for both, which do you think is the better buy? I think the second due to better proportions/less durability risks (knot/feather/crown angle). However for re-sale value I'd say the first. I look forward to seeing your opinions :).

P.S. no pics hence making the assumption of bad feather/knot location.
