Amazing Tiffany marketing in China

Marketing did a fantastic job on that one!
 
A) Fantastic job.

B) Even my 3 month old kitten came up and stared at the screen with wide-eyed fascination.

The human demograpic? Easy. You manage to convince the feline population? You've got talent.
 
That was incredible. I don't even understand what 4D means.
 
My parents live just down the road from there, they said it was amazing!

I look forward to visiting it this Christmas for some window shopping. :)
 
Stunning...nice to know what the blue box premium is paying for.

I go to NAB (National Assocation of Broadcasters) every year and it's amazing what's in the future of broadcasting. Haven, 4D adds the physical dimension...so if you've ever been to Universal and seen Terminator (or I think shrek is another one) where they actually shoot things at you like wind, water, etc, that's 4D.

It amazes me now when I see things like this because there just isn't much advanced technology anywhere I've been in China. I feel like I'm living in a DIFFERENT China from the one that is portrayed sometimes, especially here on PS. I don't doubt there is money to be spent, but it is far less ubiquitous than it seems from things like this - not to mention, the technology like that... people seem to think that after this and like the beijing olympics that China is just this technological cutting edge. I don't see it. I see people who don't even have refrigerators and have never touched a computer in their, lives. And most of the people, the middle class, don't even have cars. They do like to play with lighting and fireworks though. But in my experience it is far more of a show for the rest of the world than a stable reality here.

but yeah, it was pretty cool :)

Yes, apparently they switch places all the time. If you scroll down the featured videos on the right hand side of the page, you'll see the one entitled 'An Extraordinary Night in Beijing' - that's the one.

It is incredible. I remember seeing another video of a Tiffany store opening (can't remember where) and it was just as magnificient. It is so beautiful and so decadent - can't help but love it!

I have seen it and every time I watch it .. the girl with the pink dress scares me. Did anyone notice how close to ripping her earlobe is? It really ruins the earrings when it looks like it is going to rip off your ear!
 
This may be a small thing, but I loved the shimmering lights on the black floor around the stage.

And the very long diamond sautoir necklaces at 0:52 and 2:16? WANT! It looks so elegant against the black dress and so luxurious in the triple strands around her shoulders in the red dress.
 
The last woman, the one walking up the stairs. I love her outfit (what I could see of it) and her shoes. Wish Tiffany would credit for the clothes!
