Alexandrite vintage earrings

I am looking for any info on the earrings. The y are gold plated, any info on origin ?The stone is probably Alexandrite. According to my friend who is jewelry collector they are -1980-90. Thank you

i don't get a sense of scale.

For gold-plated, there is no information to be had.

If the stones are color-change like alex, I would assume that they are synthetic -- based on base-metal, the era, and that "lumpy" make around the melee.

Look to be synthetic alex in gold vermeil. Unless there is a makers mark it would be challenging to find any more details.

They are very pretty and unusual. I hope you enjoy wearing them.
