I went into ALex Jewelry (aka A.B. N. Jewelry) on upper Madison Avenue in NYC. They are sort of a neighborhood jewelry store with pretty decent looking stuff. What caught my eye in the window was a ruby and diamond eternity band. They had many generic things but also MANYvery very nice pieces--gorgeous bands of blackened gold with colored stones like green garnets and deco copy eternities and such. Ive been looking for an eternity band that would go with my somewhat unusual ER. He told me that the ring I was admiring was one of their designs. They could make me the ring in platinum (theirs was white gold) in the proper size but I normally would never go to a retail place like them for such work but the band is so unusual that I dont think I could describe it to have it repllicated elsewhere. Anyone have experience with them? It was a band of square rubies in a milgrained channel set with square diamonds (much fatter than the rubies) spaced out as separators sort of prong set so they sort of sat up a little from the band but it wasnt big and bulky very nicely designed and sooooooooo complimented my ring
