AGS Light Performance: Will this be a decent performer?

Hello,

I've looked at number of computer generated light performance maps on the new AGS reports, but I have never seen one like this. It looks like there are bright areas where there is usually contrast, and light leakage where there is usually brightness. Is this indicative of poor light performance? The diamond is rated AGS 000.

Table: 56.9%
Depth: 62.4%
Crown Angle: 36
Pavillion Angle: 40.9

Thanks!

If its AGS000 then it should be a top performer as they do their own light analysis in order to give it it's grading. No idea on the image though.

Oh HCA scale it is

Factor Grade
Light Return Good
Fire Good
Scintillation Good
Spread
or diameter for weight Very Good
Total Visual Performance 4.5 - Good - Only if price is your main criterion

And image don't look good.

Interesting... I thought AGS0 grading would put it in the ideal range

I am not loving the asset image on this stone it appears to have a very dark table, I think you can do better :twirl:

Never seen an ASET of an AGS000 like that. Interesting.

do you have an actual ASET image (not computer generated?)

that being said...that is not my favorite computer generated ASET.

I've seen a few of these with crown angles at 36 degrees and pavilion angles bordering on the cusp of the 41 degree mark. The optical symmetry is what saved this particular diamond but it is a good example of those AGS Ideal's that are borderline.
