AGS in Canada?

Does anybody know how I can get a diamond graded by AGS here in Toronto?
After all I have read and learned on Pricescope, I just cannot accept a Gemscan certificate . I need to know more details before I purchase an upgrade!

You can buy online.
You will find several AGS retailers in canada if you look on their website (I think)
You can call local jewellers and ask them if they can or will help you

You can also buy the diamond and not the paper.

Thanks- but not sure what you mean by " buy the diamond and not the paper"? Wouldn''t I want to know as much about it before I put the money out?

Talk to your favorite jeweler, perhaps the one selling the stone. Although AGSL will not accept work from individuals, your jeweler should be able to submit work to them. Most haven’t done it before but it’s not that hard and you are not the only client with this requirement. If there are none in your neighborhood who will offer this service, this can be a competitive advantage for them.
