I do not have any other images, but I am goibng to see them tomorrow..

One of them fairs a lot better on HCA than the other, BUT i really want them to be as big as possible. For the same price whitefish, brian gavin etc were offering me .7 ish each for their supreme cuts. I don't want dud diamonds of course, but I'm not extremely bothered for the diamonds to be at the extremely high level that i know that most of you lovely ps'ers demand.

However, what do you think about these? The price is $8800 for the pair.

I am going tomorrow, and as it is a wholesaler, I'm going to have to decide and pay cash. Any advice on how i look at them etc?

Thank you!

Oh wow. A pair of exactly the same dimensions, same type of proportions, both w/ SBF? That's quite a find!

No flags on the reports beyond clarity - whether or not they'll be clean to your specifications, whatever they are.

What colour metal will the earring heads be (posts/backs doesn't matter)? You can take a bit of cloth or paper of that colour and sit the stones on it and inspect them in a variety of lighting types - diffuse back office lights, by a window, in the corridor (understanding that the walls will lend their colour asl well)... I have a cheapie little blacklight pen for fluor ::)

All in all if they're clean enough for you and you like the way they look IRL and you're happy with the price (I don't know how pricing is these days but that actually sounds really low?) I'd take 'em. Matched pairs of exactly the same dimensions w/ same type of proportions and SBF don't exactly grow on trees.

Hi yssie!

Yes I'm quite excited about them. I know they might not be the ideal ps standard cuts but hopefully they will be pretty. I'm just going to set them in 18k white gold 4 prongs. I have super tiny ear lobes so 1ct looks really quite big, im also very fussy about colour, so I'm happy they r so white. I just hope that they are eye clean in real life. I don't see why they won't be by looking at the photos..

So I'll make sure I look at them in all light conditions... Don't have a flouro lamp, but as they are a wholesaler I presume they will have all the gadgets! I was worried about them being milky, but he says they aren't and I don't think they r by the photo...

Oooo I'm going to sleep now, so excited!!

Thank you for your input

Neither have a "clarity based on clouds/pinpoints/whatever not shown". The first one does list wisps as the primary inclusion, my understanding is that those sorts of inclusions + strong fluor can (rarely) = trouble w/ haze/"overblue". The other's inclusions are crystals so I'm not at all concerned about that one at all.

Any chance you'll be able to take the stones outside - and is it supposed to be clear and sunny?

From what I understand the overblue is a very rare thing, and you need the right combo of fluor + inclusions - I think Circe was actively trying to find one for a bit and didn't have any luck? Circe has a pair of RB studs w/ SBF from IDJ and they are fabulous IRL

Just checked the weather, it's a beautiful sunny day tomorrow. I did ask the vendor if they had natural light ie windows and he said yes. I'm not sure if they will let me take them outside.. I have to presume they won't.

So I need to take extra care with the 1st stone? Will I just be able to see haze? Or do I have to wiggle it in real daylight? Fr
The images they sent, does it show any warnings to you?

I wish someone who knew more about diamonds was coming with me! Bah! This is scary (yet fun)

I've never seen an overblue - actually I've only ever seen one photo of it, and that's here on PS! I have seen stones w/ SBF and they are (IMO of course) gorgeous, especially on a sunny day! An acquaintance once said that she liked her fluor b/c it was the only way she was ever going to afford a blue diamond ::)

No, I'm not really saying to take extra care w/ the 1st one - I think it's such a rare phenomenon that it'd be strange to just happen across one! The only reason I even brought it up was because from what I can tell the price is really good... and that makes me worry that maybe the vendor knows something you don't.

Not trying to scare you off them - makes sense that SBF would lower base price in an E. Just make sure you check them out as much as you need to be totally comfortable with the purchase, and make sure that any policies (return, trade-in, upgrade, etc.) you agree on are in writing on the receipt :))

Well I know they r cheap, but this is a wholesaler to the dealers... Trade only, so it would have to be cheap.. They said I have a 4 day money back guarantee, so I suppose in the meantime I can have a really good look at them (presuming that I like them enough to take them).

There wouldn't be trade in or upgrades... As it Is a wholesaler. But I wouldn't want to trade in or upgrade from
1carat in each ear. My ears are so small that it's Definately big enough. And thinking about it, I'm sure I would be able to get someone in the future to buy them If i don't want them if they r what we think...

Oooo excited!!

Ps thanks for the photo!

ah i just noticed i can download the full report. (im sure you all know that!) Does this make anything different? If off in about AN HOUR to see them. Im SO nervous!!!
