AGS Ideal 0 (with ideal polish, symmetry, and proportions)
F color
VVS2 clarity
negligible fluorescence
61.7% depth
56.0% table
34.5° crown angle
41.0° pavilion angle
1.7% to 2.3% girdle

I was wondering if we made a good purchase. We paid roughly 13200 for it...I was also curious as to whether or not this was a good price. Thanks so much in advance for everyone''s help. And...Happy New Year!

Hi Len,

The diamond looks great, no worries there! As for pricing, this can vary depending on where you purchased, online sellers are typically cheaper than brick and mortar jewellers - you can use the search tool above to check the prices of similar if this was an online purchase.

Also did the purchase price include the setting? If so then does the setting have diamonds in, side stones, what metal etc? All of these factors influence price.

I did a quick search and found a similar diamond with Blue Nile for almost 12k out of interest but this is an online seller.

I''m new to all these analysis too but I ran the numbers thru HCA, and it scored 1.8. HCA is meant for weeding out not so good cut diamonds. Under 2 is ok. It had Ex,VG,VG,VG.
