Of course I am open to any more suggestions as well !

Thanks stone-cold..The JA diamonds were taken, I was too slow to buy the stones. There is another pair that I am considering. I love the pair, but one of the stones has a medium blue fluorescnce and the other does not. Will it matter ? the fluorescence does not bother me- but will the stones look mismatched.. all other proportions are a close match

Should be fine, not noticeable in most lighting conditions, especially separate by a head.

But it will probably glow slightly if you go to a nightclub, that kind of places that are dark but uses UV lights.

Clubbing with diamond earrings is an expensive pastime. Especially if you drink till you are poofaced! :))

Yes, but clubs are likely the only location where it will glow blue. Medium is not supposed to alter a diamonds appearance in most lights, especially if it isn't a D colored stone.

I wonder if the price difference is due to the differences in cut as well? What is the HCA for the second pair? If color alone is the only difference, then I'd go with the J color. I have one earring that is I and one is J and I can't tell which is which even when I line them up side by side. In my opinion, you would notice a difference in cut (sparkliness), however.

Those ISs on that first pair look fantastic, and the stones look like a fantastic match - go for it! I would not spend 1k more when I have these two as options ::)

my assumption is that the 1K price difference is due to the 1 color grade in addition to the cut being ideal versus the cut of the first pair.

yes definitely a premium for I color stones.. 3 stones are GIA EX/EX/EX and one is AGS 000. Also both the pairs are from different vendors.. hmmm decisions decisions..

Just another consideration as you choose is the upgrade policy differs for the two vendors. Seems you are looking for your dream earrings so you may not want to upgrade, but if you do, the policies do differ.

I know the upgrade policy for one of the vendors, will find out about the second vendor shortly. But honestly .. I am 120% sure I wont upgrade .. Next on my list is chandelier jackets for the studs, so would prefer to spend money there instead of going up in size or quality :)
