Advice on choosing a 2 carat MMD

Hello,

I'm looking to buy a 2 carat MMD. My budget is about 14,500 USD. I have narrowed my options down to this particular diamond using the set of proportions suggested by the Prosumer Diamonds website.

I've noticed that the surface of the diamond has a greasy mark almost as if it's a fingerprint? Not sure if that'll affect the light performance.

I don’t see a greasy mark. The notes said there are surface blemishes that are not seen unless under magnification. It looks like a pretty stone but I’d didn’t look at the angles, etc. You said you did that yourself..Brilliant Earth is reputable so if you don’t like it then you can always return it..

I think it's wise to wait perhaps 6 months to see how the market pans out after Lightbox launches, no matter what size MMD is under consideration!
