Advice on Amora Gem Color Grades!

Unfortunately, there are no stores anywhere close to my location that carry Amoras for me to take a look at in person. I’ve searched on all the wedding forums, gone through hashtags on instagram, searched key words on youtube, looked at countless pages of google images. There are not a lot of photos/videos on social media and the few that are posted usually don’t mention color grades. The ones that have information are usually from a few years back, generally with the older cuts and not the current H&A cut. I’m hoping someone here has purchased an Amora recently!

I always thought the higher the grade, the better it would look, but from several threads, people have mentioned that the G color is has more depth and diamond-like look. I was concerned about G looking yellow and too warm for my taste but BTD told me that their Gs now are more steely than warm. Does anyone have any H&A cut G colors? Or advice? Thank you!

I can’t really help because I don’t have one, but this is good info to have! If I ordered one I would’ve gotten G or H, but I don’t want “steely” I want warm. Hoping others will chime in!

I don't have a G Amora. I have an E Amora Gem. I usually get colorless moissanite, because of my warmer skin tone. I've also become a bit color sensitive. To me, there's not much of a difference between colorless and near colorless, except for the price. If I was doing YG, i would do near colorless though. I think it's to each person.

Did you find there's any truth to some people's impression that D/E Amoras have a plasticky look to them? I never know whether that's the case in the photos that are posted or if they're just bad photos!

I have to correct myself when I said there isn't much differences. There ARE differences between the color, but if they actually have stuff in stock I would do F or G to save money. The color differences shows more from the side. But they mostly will face up white. In pictures, near colorless will show up warmer even if it might not be that warm in real life. I don't think the Amora looks plastic. I've had C&C F1 H&A and Chinese and Indian moissanites and the Amora is my favorite so far for an ideal cut.
