I have been looking at stones for a while and at a number of places (both online & Brick and Mortar).
I have been looking at Princess Cut 1 carat, G, VS1 or better.

I found a local jeweler that I have enjoyed working with and here is what seemed to be the best deal (it is VS2 rather than a VS1 like I had originally been looking at, but also with better color):

1.09 carat
F Color
VS2 (there is a slight inclusion in the corner, barely visible w/ a 10x scope)
Table 66%
Depth 70%
$5450

The table seemed on the smaller side on this stone, any thoughts on if this is a good/bad thing? Does this price seem good?

Thanks in advance!

does the diamond have a lab report?

Seems fairly well priced. If you like the looks of it, I don't see much problem. You did not mention girdle thickness or strength and color of any UV fluorescence. Both of these issues can kill what seems to be an otherwise good deal, so they may be important to your decision.

This stone has potential--what are the crown height and pavilion angles? You really can't judge princess specs without that information.

This does have an EGL Cert. I just called the jeweler to try to get all the other specs and will post as soon as I hear back from him.

Thanks everyone for your help!
