Hi All,
Question #1
I am aware that white gold can turn dull/yellow for a number of reasons. What puzzles me about the white gold though is that I have seen pieces non Rhodium plated and they do no show any reaction. Were the alloy contents different in earlier days? Would this be the reason older jewelery does not react in the same fashion?
Question # 2 What is it that makes a diamond sparkle in a jewelery store and when you get it into other light such as outside overcast or sunny light, the stone turns into a lifeless dud?
