Comments: The state of Alabama has issued an Emergency Missing Child AMBER Alert at the request of the state of Georgia. The Gordon County Sheriff''s Ofice and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation ask for your assistance in locating Brittney Phelps, 10; Brandy Jones, 4; and Tammy Jones, 3. All are white females and were last seen on January 7, 2004, at 186 Pack Road, Ranger, Ga. They are believed to be in extreme danger. The girls were abducted by Jerry William Jones, 31, a white male, 5''7" in height, weighing approximately 150 pounds. Jones and the children may be traveling in a 1991 red/maroon Ford Explorer with Georgia tag #730YFV. The vehicle was last seen traveling west on Highway 156 from Highway 411. If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Jerry Jones and the three children -- Brittney Phelps, Brandy Jones and Tammy Jones -- please call 911, the Gordon County Sheriff''s Office at 706-629-1244, the Alabama State Troopers at 334-242-4128; or your local police department.
