I know what you mean. Sometimes, I just find myself in need of a bauble. In all honesty, these "baubles" are some of my favorite pieces!cflutist|1402173703|3688565 said:starryeyed|1402169109|3688537 said:VERY pretty! How is the pave work? Smooth enough for silk?
Well I've seen better but these are not designer rings and the price I paid reflected that.
I would give the pink sapphire one a B+ - the stones are well matched and whomever set it did a pretty decent job.
The diamond and blue sapphire ones are not as nice, probably a C. There are a few stones that don't match exactly in girdle diameter and the setting job was not as nice. But given that they had to set 150+ stones, it is not bad.
How do I explain this, when I was working (retired now) I used to buy my suits at Nordstrom. However, I would buy tank tops and shorts from Costco because I didn't care about the quality as much. Same with my jewelry ... I cared about the diamond tennis bracelet from Wink (contained well cut diamonds and it is hand assembled and not machine made like another bracelet that I have), but for these rings, coming from Stuller was fine for me.
