Ladies --
I have been mostly a lurker here on PS, but I have enjoyed reading all of your posts and sharing in your inevitable ups and downs. And without further ado, I''m ENGAGED!! As of October 20, 2006. The whole thing is so surreal to me right now, but I have a (*gulp*) fiance!
In brief, Justin and I met, courtesy of nerve.com, about six months after I split up with my boyfriend of almost five years (that''s another story for another day...). After a whirlwind courtship, he proposed to me on his family''s farm in SW Wisconsin almost 10 months to the day after our first date.
We''re so happy and so excited! I have to say, no matter how much you know it''s coming, there''s nothing that can quite prepare you for turning around and seeing the man you love down on bended knee...
I''ve attached a picture of the ring (of course!). It''s BEAUTIFUL! Super sparkly. It''s absolutely alive! It''s a 2.03 ct. radiant center stone (F-G, SI1) with two trillion side stones on a thin platinum band.
