a setting problem.

Hello, well I know the setting I want for my princess cut diamond, but am having a problem. I found it at blue nile for 975.00 for a princess cut channel set diamonds of .50 carat, but since I don''t think I am buying my diamond there, I am buying it from whiteflash, they have the same one, but want 1450 for it.... That is almost 500 more. What should I do? Maybe just find a signature cut diamond the same as I found from white flash? Or is there other good setting sites?

is it the exact same setting? if so, I''d see if WF will pricematch. if not, you can always hunt around for the setting elsewhere to see if you can get a better price. do you have a link or picture of the setting?

Also I just went to a local store and they have one but instead of the .50 carat it is .40 for 994.00. Would you recommend buying one from a local so I have somewhere to take it and get it checked?

i''d still give Whiteflash a chance to pricematch. that is a pretty standard setting though and you obviously were able to find it cheaper so I see no problem if you like the one at the local store, saving the $500 and buying the setting from them.
