I found a Tacori setting from an online store with a big discount, they claimed that "The Tacori settings you find on Overstock.com are generally 'sample size' rings that were designed as display rings, and thus, cannot be customized or changed. They are sold 'as is'. Please know that there is nothing different with the rings sold, they are all authentic Tacori rings. All of our Tacori rings were specially handcrafted at their California headquarters to match exact size, design, and diamond specifications. Have fun selecting your perfect Tacori piece."
But the ring does not come with Tacori box and certificate of authority, is it a scam?

I don't think it's a scam but I'm not sure it would include the same type of warranty that buying from an authorized Tacori retailer would.

Overstock's rings are authentic, but they are all stock so they are the ones in jewelers display cases. They are often set with CZ's. Nothing wrong with that.

True, but you have to want to set a similar diameter diamond. As for sizing, Tacori does a lot of bead setting. As a size 4.5, I wouldn't buy a "sample size" ring with bead set diamonds since sample size usually means 6 or 7.

The pictures of Ice match those of the tacori website. If the actual ring is the same one as pictured in the stock photo it is likely real.
