Back in March I volunteered to give up my seat on a flight I took for work and in return I got 3 RT tickets to anywhere AirTran flies. I couldn''t figure out what to do with them, but then today I had the idea of using them to get my MOH and BM together for a quasi-bachelorette party! My BM lives in Portland, OR and my MOH lives in Harrisburg, PA while I''m in Youngstown, OH. There really wasn''t any chance we''d be able to get together before the wedding and I''m really excited about the possibility of going somewhere with them!
The 3 of us have been sooo stressed about various things (mostly work) recently and this would be so great! I talked to my BM and she''s really excited. I left a voicemail for my MOH and hopefully she''ll be able to find the time to go. All we''d have to pay for is a hotel room, rental car and food. I think we could do this very affordably and we''d all get a much needed vacation.
Right now I''m thinking we could go to Fort Lauderdale, FL Jan 12-15. The 15th is Martin Luther King day and I know BM has it off and MOH probably does too since she''s a teacher. I don''t, but I really don''t have any days off, so hopefully I''ll be able to take it off unpaid.
Keep your fingers crossed that it all works out!
