A large, beautiful bi-color diamond rough discovered in Botswana

How amazing.
I would just love to have a few hours with that diamond to love on it.
I think it should stay as a specimen as it’s so incredibly rare.
Imagine one diamond crystal forming and being “deformed” by pressure and time to create pink and then later right alongside a new white diamond forming.

Very beautiful! Nature is a marvelous thing!

Amazing! I hope the mind diamond industry turns around so that magical land can come back to prosperity.

That is incredibly cool.

Incredible rock! I would be interested to know if it is possible to cut a stone that would capture both colors such that they would both appear distinct in the finished gem. Maybe an emerald cut. Thinking something like a by-color tourmaline.

My guess is that you might not be able to cut across the two sections. But that's just a guess.

Maybe @yoram can provide some insight.

It would be fun to design a cut for it but I hope it never gets cut.
It is awesome! just as it is now.
