I noticed on an earlier post in RT about settings that Ellen''s reply included a couple of links in her post that said something like "I like this one" How do you do that? BTW, I am using a Mac if that matters.

Hi Gayle!

I'll give you the instructions, I'm unfamiliar with Macs though, so not sure if it will work. All you can do is try!

Ok, first, get in the reply box.

Then, up above the box, to the righjt, there should be a picture of what looks like a "chain link" (inbetween some black horizontal bars and a "broken link") Click on that.

A box should pop up, with 2 spaces to put info, the URL, and Title. In the URL space, clear out what's in there, and paste the link you have copied that you want in there. In the Title space, type whatever you want the link to say.

That's it! Hope it works.

Ooooh, I think I figured it out! You go to the site you want....right click on the url in the browser (top line on page) and copy. Go to reply field (this space) and click on the chain looking icon above this (see it?) paste your url in the first line that pops up and then type in "like this" in the lower line. Wahlah.

Someone probably replied by now as I have been trying to figure it out myself all this while.....

I am humbled by other people''s expertise. Thanks for this thread because I learned something new. Cool, man.

Way way cool, Ellen. Thanks again!

eta: poo--what'd I do wrong? It said 'broken link' when I tested it. Gotta keep trying I guess.
Make sure you remove the http:// so your link begins with www. then the rest of the link.

There you did it!

Woohoo Ellen!!!!!!!!!!!!! Partay! I remembered what you wrote to wipe out what was on the url line first!!! Then I pasted! Yipeerrroooo.
