A different kind of wedding band

Hi Lovely people! :wavey:

Ok, I'm not getting married for a while yet, but I have a couple of ideas for a wedding band that might take me awhile to put together. It's in its infant stages and I'd just like some input from you to tell me if it would even look good.
I would like an AVC wedding band. Now GOG has a couple of 5 stone wedding bands and they look lovely but would they look okay next to an MRB?

http://www.goodoldgold.com/AugustVintageJewelry/AugustVintageWeddingBands/ (For reference, scroll down).

My Ering is .80ct so I don't want stones that will make it look smaller, I need a size small enough to not make Ering look smaller, but big enough that you can tell they are individual stones.

Also, I would want an even number, because an odd number next to my Ering would mean that the centre stone and one of the stones in the band would be right next to each other, I prefer them off set. But with an odd number of stones it would leave the ring tiled to one side and bug the hell out of me (did that any sense?).

My Ering doesn't stand out very far from my hand either probably 1.5-2mm, so I also don't want something that will feel clunky or hefty. I tried on an eternity ring the other day and I would never be able to wear one, it was so uncomfortable (Also got to see some HOF stones!)
So!

Would this even look good? Is it even possible to do? Would either AVCs or AVRs just look wrong next to an MRB? Has anyone seen a thread mentioning anything like this one that I can look at?

I'm sorry this was so long, I'm just struggling with what it would look like and sizes and whatnot. I'm basically trying to find anyway of owning an AVC! :D

Okay, can't work out how to edit my post so the title says wedding band not eternity. D'oh!

I think they would look good together. I only think when a stone gets past maybe the half carat mark though that you would see the facets of the older cut with the naked eye. You would have the square shape though. I think you may be better to go with single cut stones if you want an old look sparkle. I would save the AVC for a larger right hand ring or 3 stone.

Odd numbers in rings are supposed to look better. There is no reason you cannot put even numbers there if you want though.

Look at this thread: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/gog-avc-five-stone-band.177494/

I have tried on Roseblooms band and it's gorgeous!!!! The performance of the stones even in this size is really something to behold.
I think if you went with the same size diamonds she did it will be perfect with your .80ct solitaire.

Here's a pic from our recent GTG. Roseblooms ring is the second band from the top on the middle finger.

Well. Well well well. Roseblooms ring is incredible! She says 'cute and petite' but I think that looks really big on her finger (in nothing but a good way). It doesn't look like it stands out proud from her finger too much. Okay I'm going to refrain from getting excited.

What do you think to the 4 or 6 rather than 3 or 5? I know the even number could look odd, but I would like it to 'fit' next to the solitaire.
