I''ve just started looking for a ring. I''m looking to get a 3 stone ring. About 1.0 carat center diamond. SI1-VS2. G-H color. Maybe a Vatche setting with pear side stones? I''ve come across a cut called "A cut above H&A" on whiteflash. From the pics it looks very nice.

Most of you may be more familiar with this and I was hoping that someone would comment on this cut or even the setting. Is it worth the extra$ ?

Thanks in advance

A Cut Above is Whiteflash''s branded hearts & arrows diamond. I don''t think you''d be disappointed with any of them.

I own an ACA, and I wholeheartedly concur with Hest88.....their stones are beautiful, and they meet very stringent standards.

I also agree, the ACA Hearts and Arrows from whiteflash are MAGNIFICANT. This cut REALLY stands out...I wasn''t a believer until I saw this in person.

Thank you all for the comments. Right now all I need is a little guidance and the forum is helping greatly!!!

I concur with Noobie, albeit my fiance owns a ACA H&A, and it''s mindboggling how brilliant it is, and on top of that how much fire it has too! There are many diamonds out there so just find the one you are most happy with, and you can''t go wrong! Happy Hunting

Another Happy WF ACA diamond(s) owner !

Some other diamonds are not "officially branded". PS vendors (like NiceIce, GOG or Wink, etc..) do apply strict selection criteria (cut and appearance) in selecting their special diamonds for sale. So to an extent you are buying a "niceice" or "GOG" or "Wink" diamond. Even a WF "expert selection" is going to be "kind of" a branded diamond and meet criteria way above most other diamonds out there.

But do your homework when choosing. Use the HCA and AGA cut tools as "a part" of your evaluation and selection process. Also look at the selections each vendor has, prices, and policies.
