Yes, and it comes with all the perks of buying new from a great vendor! I too don’t want to “pile on”, but sometimes being direct can be nice. OP, I wish you the best in your sale and search of a new diamond!

I appreciate the pile on tbh! This is my first time doing anything like this. Very uncertain what a return would or should be! I believe it’s an excellent cut stone and from I found similar on WF was up in the 6k+. I’ll go ahead and bring down the asking if I am able to edit it

@SierraKimberlite When you say "what a return would or should be" are you referring to a return on the investment of your original purchase of the diamond or are you referring to the diamond upgrade process through Whitefly's as a "return"?

20% off is what we tend to go with for Super Ideals but that puts it at less than $4k. So, maybe price it at $4ish? This is
just my opinion and you can price it however you want. If this is too low for you, you might consider making a pendant
or something else out of it? Unfortunately, diamond prices are low right now so it makes it hard for sellers to recoup.

I wojld start at 20% below the actual cost TODAY. Not what you paid. And Ks are much cheaper than Js in general. 4k is pretty reasonable for an asking price TBH

A WF ACA 1.16 K VS1 is $4175. That includes a money-back return policy. As a private seller of a K VS2, you’ll need to price far enough below that to make it worthwhile.

We keep wondering why you don’t contact WF and upgrade through them. You’ll likely recoup far more than you would through a private sale.

And are you hoping to get some return on your initial investment? The second hand market for diamonds doesn’t provide a positive return on investment. Everyone has to take a hit. It’s the price of getting play with something beautiful for a while.
