Mommy's baby is home!!!!! I picked her up today
Overall, the jeweler did a good job. I am glad I did it locally because I scrutinized it right there and gave it back to him to polish off some tool marks, and I might take it back because I believe the shank might be catching some lint. Also, he didn't make my wedding band full eternity (even though we discussed it) so I have to pick it up next week. For now I'll just wear it with my old band.

Thank you everyone for your help, I am over the moon and having a hard time concentrating, lol!

The stone is an J, VS2, 2.45 ct, EX, EX, VG

OOOH!!! That is spectacular! I love the split prongs (have that on one of my rings and I LOVE the feature!!) and the melee on the shank is gorgeous!! What a stunning ring ---- it looks PERFECT on your (gorgeous!!) hand

Lovely - and I can't wait to see it with the full eternity, when you get that back. Good for you - just be sure to monitor those prongs and if anything feels rough, take it back for an inspection. You don't want to loose a stone...

I really do love the setting, I think it's perfect and exactly what I wanted. And I love that I made it locally so I can bug him to get it checked, polished, etc. as needed.

The J color of the diamond... well... it does look buttery warm at times, especially next to the melee, but I am choosing to love it anyway . Makes it look more "real", lol

It was a combination of a couple of different settings that I liked. I just combined the elements I wanted from each of them and came up with this

It is beautiful! In my opinion J stones are perfect! They look white face up but have just a slight warmth to them that is so soft in certain lighting! Your ring is gorgeous and boy do I envy your teeny tiny fingers! Congrats!
